February Newsletter

February may be the month of love, but it is also the month of heart health! In this issue, we’re sharing ways to support your heart, from our Featured Product of the Month to an upcoming CPR certification course you won’t want to miss. Plus, we’ve got a fun office activity planned to help everyone spread a little extra love!

Featured Product: CoQ10

In a healthy-diet-lifestyle, the body generally can make a sufficient amount of CoQ10 on its own, but since most of us aren’t eating clean, whole foods for every meal, supplementation can help keep optimal levels.

Given the higher workload and stress of the heart muscle, CoQ10 supports heart health mainly by helping with mitochondrial energy production (ATP – remember this from high school biology??) in heart cells for better contraction and pumping, and by acting as a powerful antioxidant to protect against oxidative stress, inflammation, and natural cell damage

In addition, anybody who’s taking any type of statin or cholesterol-lowering medication should be taking CoQ-10, as those medications deplete this essential nutrient, which contributes to the negative side effects of people taking statin drugs.

Every muscle in your body has energy demands, but none more than heart muscle cells! Supplementation of CoQ10 helps meet the body’s, and especially the heart’s demands.

Get CPR Certified!

Be prepared to save a life! Our CPR course from 9am-12pm on Wednesday, February 18, provides hands-on, practical training designed to give you the confidence and skills to respond in an emergency. You’ll learn how to perform high-quality CPR, use an AED, and respond to choking and cardiac emergencies for adults, children, and infants.

RSVP deadline: 2/12/26
