If you fall a lot, you need chiropractic

Everyone needs chiropractic, but especially kids. They are falling all over the place all the time! And no surprise here, but falls are tough on the spine. If you have kids, you know what we’re talking about! Don’t believe it? Watch this video:

The sudden impacts of falls force bones out of place, strain muscles, and pinch nerves. This trauma may or may not be immediately painful, but regardless, the stiffness, swelling, and joint wear require attention. Even the discs between your vertebrae can be damaged, which doesn’t show up until many years later. This is where most arthritis originates – we see it on x-rays years later!

Chiropractic care realigns the spinal vertebrae, takes stress off the nervous system, relaxes muscles that are trying to overcompensate, reduces swelling, and helps the body heal. Over time, consistent chiropractic adjustments not only improve long-term pain, swelling, and stiffness, but help kids (and adults!) have healthier, more adaptive nervous systems and stay healthier over the course of their lives.

Since babies and kids fall all the time, with learning to walk and move, playing sports, doing various outdoor activities, running around at recess, and so much more, we highly recommend getting checked by a chiropractor.

The younger the spine, the easier it is to address issues and set it up for a long, healthy life! Consider this quote: “As the twig is bent, so grows the tree.” And now apply that principle to the spine. If it’s bent/misaligned/under stress at a young age, it’s going to cause more problems in older age.

Sometimes parents may be hesitant for their kids to try chiropractic, but once they see the benefits, they recognize how important it is. If you have questions, schedule a free consult to talk more about your specific concerns!
